Biography
Cheryl Malcamp, CDT, AAACD, is a certified, highly-skilled dental laboratory technician. She has 25 years of experience in the field of dental ceramics.
Cheryl Malcamp received her degree in Electron Microscopy from San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA in 1974. Over the next 22 years she conducted experiments and assisted PhD candidates with their scientific research projects. She had the opportunity to work at five major universities in the US and abroad.
After moving from San Francisco to New Orleans Cheryl sought a new career direction. She received her degree in Dental Laboratory Technology in 1998 from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. In 2000, Cheryl was awarded her CDT certificate in Ceramics. Cheryl has continued to increase her knowledge of dentistry and esthetic ceramic techniques through numerous lectures and hands-on courses with The Dawson Center, Ed McLaren, DDS, Director, UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry, Lee Culp, CDT, Klaus Muterthies and Peter Pizzi, CDT, MDT.

In 1999, Malcamp Dental Ceramics was established in New Orleans and relocated to Niwot, Colorado in 2009.
Active in the Louisiana Dental Laboratory Association, Cheryl served on the Board of Directors for six years and as president from 2008-2009.
She has been a member of AACD since 2006. In 2015, Cheryl achieved Accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) after completing a rigorous credentialing process including a written examination, oral examination, and the submission of clinical cases for examination.
Cheryl has been a member of the Boulder Seattle Study Club since 2016.
